๐The light that rises in me
On this Resurrection morning, I find myself returning to the quiet places inside me — the places where faith trembles, where hope flickers, where the light feels small but refuses to die.
If you are tired, if you are afraid, if you feel like your light has dimmed… this prayer is for you.
A prayer for the ones who are still rising, even in the dark.
A prayer for the ones who haven’t given up, even when everything feels heavy.
๐"Beloved God,
On this Resurrection morning, I come to You as I am — tired, worn, and still hoping.
You know the weight I carry, the shadows I’ve walked through, the nights that felt too long.
Yet here I am, whispering Your name, because something in me refuses to let go of the light.
Today, as the stone is rolled away, roll away the heaviness in my spirit.
Lift what I cannot lift.
Heal what I cannot heal.
Restore what feels broken inside me.
Let the same light that rose Christ from the tomb rise in me —
not suddenly, not perfectly, but faithfully.
Let it warm the places that have gone cold.
Let it steady the places that shake.
Let it remind me that endings are not the end,
and that even buried hope can breathe again.
God, help me trust that You are working in the unseen.
Help me remember that Your timing is not delayed,
but preparation.
Help me believe that Your love is stronger than fear,
stronger than sorrow,
stronger than anything that has tried to dim my flame.
On this holy day of rising,
teach my heart to rise too —
inch by inch, breath by breath,
until I can feel Your light inside me again.
I place my worries in Your hands.
I place my future in Your hands.
I place my tired spirit in Your hands.
And I ask You to hold me, guide me, and lead me toward the dawn."
"Amen."
May this day remind you —
Nothing is too buried for God to breathe life into again.
Not hope.
Not faith.
Not you.

If your light feels small today, that’s okay.
ReplyDeleteGod has always worked with small things — seeds, embers, whispers, mustard‑sized faith.
If you’re here, breathing, listening…
you’re already rising.
I’m proud of you for holding on to the light.
