πŸ•―️ Soul Journal Post: The Price of the Lie

When the Lie Is Louder Than the Truth

Some lies are whispered. Others are shouted. But the worst are known—and chosen anyway.

There are moments when the world feels like it’s unraveling.

Not because truth is lost, but because it’s ignored.

Because someone knew they were lying.

Knew it would cost lives.

Knew it would stir violence.

And still—they chose it.

This is not a political post.

This is a post for the soul.

For the part of us that aches when cruelty is justified.

For the part that still believes truth matters.

- Lies are not just words. They are weapons.

- When spoken with intent, they become spells—dark ones.

- Violence doesn’t begin with fists. It begins with stories.

- The thirst for power often drinks from the well of deception.

- And when people know the cost but do not care,

That is not ignorance. That is abandonment.

I have seen what lies do.

To families. To communities. To hearts.

They fracture trust. They poison hope.

And sometimes, they kill.

But I have also seen truth survive.

In quiet voices. In trembling hands.

In those who choose love, even when it’s dangerous.

Offering:

Light a candle for truth.

Write down a lie you’ve heard—one that hurt.

Burn the paper safely.

Say:

> I see the wound.

> I name the harm.

> I choose not to repeat it.

Closing Blessing:

> May we be guardians of truth,

> Even when it’s inconvenient.

> May we speak with clarity,

> Even when the world prefers noise.

> May our love be louder than the lie.
