π Souls Journal entry: Remember God
π
I prayed for wisdom as a child,
And God answered by placing stars in my chest.
I was not taught faith—I was woven from it.
I do not only believe in God.
I remember Him.
In water. In flowers. In the ache of injustice.
In the love that made me cry for Jesus,
For three days in bed, sick at six years old
Because I saw the cruelty and hatred in ppl without reason.
The first time I saw the crucifixion in a movie.
Cruelty was not divine.
Jesus did not come to start a religion.
He came to remind us
that we are the breath of God,
the echo of love,
the light that forgot its source.
They killed Him for teaching love
Because love cannot be controlled.
But love rose again.
And so did I.
